Drawing on over 10 years of experience at large digital adtech companies and high-growth startup agencies, Derek helps clients craft omni-channel advertising and communication strategies, media plans, and engagement tactics by revealing the stories behind clients’ marketing data. He has been a part of two organizations that successfully sold their businesses, where his clients included national, Fortune 500 companies as well as growing regional brands. He has overseen more than $300 million dollars in marketing expenditures during his career and has led digital ad operations teams, executing agency of record deals for leading colleges and university systems. He received both his B.A. in Economics and his M.B.A. from Loyola University Maryland, where he later served as an adjunct instructor in the Marketing Department. He is presently pursuing his Ph.D. from Kansas State University.
